What Was Written Down

Bryant, as reported, gives the Nyawo a Ntungwa-Nguni origin later Swazi-ised; Jones has them move east from the Phongolo-Mkhondvo headwaters to the Lubombo after clashing with Mzilikazi's Khumalo. Bonner records that Dingane was killed by Silvana Nyawo. Under Sambane (son of Nhlongaluvalo) they fought the Mngometulu under Lubelo. Early Dlamini capital Nkanini stood near kaNyawo on the Lubombo.
